A "pitch" is simply an elevator speech - a short, 30-60 second statement about your business that is clear, concise, and interesting. As a health professional turned entrepreneur, you need a pitch because it's a powerful tool to help you:  

1. Articulate what you do in a way that's clear and easy to understand; 

2. Quickly build rapport and relationships with potential customers, clients, and referral sources; 

3. Get media attention and speaking opportunities; and 

4. Differentiate yourself from the competition.  

Think of your pitch as your personal commercial - it should be something you're proud of and excited to share. So take some time to craft a pitch that communicates the value of what you do and why someone should care. It could just be the key to unlocking success in your health business!
