Archie Thornycroft is part of Fruits of the Forage, the Macclesfield (UK) based company who seek out forgotten fruits and help keep old orchards productive through their family business.

Terry describes himself as a generalist with a varied background but has published a number of papers on consumer ethics, a co-authored book on the subject in 2005 and holds a doctorate in consumption ethics.

I’ve been looking forward to this episode since Terry and I first discussed recording together a couple of months back. I hope in this episode we overview the subject reasonably well and explain some of the issues with the current approaches to tackling the existential crises that we’re facing.
