It takes time, persistence and dedication to go deeper with God.. it calls to something beyond survival! I'm so excited to introduce you to a new friend of mine, Will Acuff.
Will is a pastor’s kid with a master’s in biblical studies, co-founded Corner to Corner, a nonprofit organization that promotes economic equality by launching underestimated entrepreneurs out of historically low-income communities in Nashville. As a father and husband navigating family health challenges, Will found renewal through trauma counseling and contemplative faith, embracing paths through pain to rediscover God's love and guidance.
In our conversation we dive into his book, No Elevator to Everest where we explore emotional health and how faith plays such a huge role in that. The majority of us are "fixers". We see a problem, we muscle through and find solutions and move on. But when we come to the point where our "I can fix this" mentality meets a reality we can't change in our own strength we begin to struggle mentally and emotionally. What do we do about that? We have to come to the end of ourselves, where only God can fix things.
