The Longhorns women’s basketball team is in the middle of an impressive stretch of wins, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you if you pay attention to the comments below my videos! Former NBA 1st-round pick David Harrison comes through to talk about why he thinks the lack of post play in today’s NBA could be why casual fans aren’t as passionate about the game. We discuss the bigs he admired when he was growing up, what was going on in the paint when he was in the league, and when things started to shift to a more perimeter-oriented game for players of all sizes. David also tells me which current NBA big men are certified in the post and whether or not he thinks we’ll see a return in back-to-the-basket play. 

David also talks about his life, playing career, and what he’s been up to since he stopped hooping. He tells me what it was like being involved in the Malice at the Palace just a handful of games into his career, why a coach drove him from the game, and how an article about a job he took didn’t paint him in the best light.
