Beyond The Book

Tune in and get to know us, your hosts, Charlotte Johnson and Hannah Cohen. You can hear the very long winded story about how Charlotte started her freelance editing business, hear Hannah be outraged at the book Charlotte really hated, and hear which book is the focus of our next episode!

The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a bestselling novel, a staple in high school English classrooms, and is a contender for The Great American Novel. Two movie adaptations were made, one in 1974 and one in 2013. We focus on Baz Luhrmann's 2013 endeavor. Listen as we talk about the man himself, Leonardo DiCaprio, how we loved the anachronistic music, find out whether or not we like Nick's therapist, and more!
