Join us as we learn more about Dr. Gregory Eberhart’s journey in medicine and pediatrics! He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at The Wright-Patterson AFB/WSUSOM. He is currently an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and precepts third-year medical students in their outpatient pediatric experience. Dr. Eberhart is the current medical director of Cornerstone Pediatrics, but he serves many other important roles within his community. He has even been featured in the local news for his pediatric expertise on the re-opening of schools amidst the pandemic!
Dr. Erica Taylor is a general pediatrician who currently practices at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2005, where she subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Clerkship Director of Pediatrics. She is deeply involved in medical education, serving as the chair of the BSOM Student Promotions Committee and the Residency Education Committee at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She is a 2017 recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award and is in process of transitioning to a new role within BSOM as Assistant Dean of Diversity and Inclusion.
Our next guest needs no introduction...one of BSOM's most beloved teachers and mentors: Dr. Ken Miller! Prior becoming our microbiology (ie "bugs & drugs") professor at BSOM, Dr. Miller trained at Kettering Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic in pathology followed by a fellowship in medical microbiology. Tune in as we learn about Dr. Miller's journey and occasionally divert to chat about toe touches and superhero names!
