#024: There’s nothing wrong with your dialect- it is part of your culture and who you are- but you need to learn how to code-switch between that and standard American English. This will help you compete with everyone else in your eventual work environment. 

In this episode of Beyond the Culture with Dr. David M. Walker, we have Veronica Blakely, the owner of V’s Voice Communications where she teaches people how to level up their communications skills. She is an educator, a community volunteer, a former corporate manager, a speech coach, and communication skills trainer.
