Beyond the Pit is back with Episode 2: Death & Robots - the tragic life and death of Kurt Struebing. No Mental Effort or NME was a thrash band formed in the early 80's in the Pacific Northwest. Compared to what was going on in the California thrash scene, NME wanted to be louder, noisier, darker and less commercially friendly. Founding guitarist Kurt Struebing had his own challenges to deal with including undiagnosed mental illness and severe drug addiction. This would soon hit critical mass and impact the band in a terrible way. This journey is not for the faint of heart.

Music Credits for this Episode:
