GG Allin born Jesus Christ Allin, had a troubling childhood with staunchly religious parents. In school, he was bullied for being different and was a total loner. He got into music with the British Invasion of the 1960's but would discover punk rock like The Stooges, The Ramones and The New York Dolls which help define his musical aspirations. But, for Allin, he was constantly pushing the envelope, abusing drugs and taking things way too far. He earned the nickname "The Madman of Manchester" and continued to live up to the title throughout his short career. Prison, hospital stays, grotesque nudity and depraved acts were all just part of the GG Allin experience. This story is not for the faint of heart.
