In October, we had 4 guests join us, share their testimonies, and encourage us to use our passion for sports as a means to share the Gospel, as well as allow ourselves to be shaped to be more like Christ! Rick Hunter, Josh March, Isaiah Parido, and Luke Staley all joined us this month, and this morning we play back the highlights from those conversations in addition to some of the latest headlines!

Here on the show we’ve talked at length about the intersection of faith and the “big 4” sports in North America, but what about the genre of combat sports? Luke Staley, from the Frederick Maryland Fellowship of Christian Athletes, helps us explore that intersection through his experience as a former MMA fighter in our conversation on the show this morning!

With the MLB playoffs in full swing, and one ticket already punched to the World Series by the Milwaukee Brewers, we’re talking faith and baseball this weekend with Isaiah Parido. Isaiah’s baseball journey has taken him from Lampeter Strasburg high school, to Messiah University, to the Draft League for the Aberdeen Ironbirds this summer. Through his time on the diamond and in the dugout, he’s learned a lot about who Jesus is, and what it means to walk with Him. He shares that experience with us in this weekend’s episode!

This weekend we're looking back on the wonderful conversations we've had with our guests John Yoast, Dave Stallard, and Justin Brubaker during the month of September! Through it all, we've seen the impact sports ministry can have, and how important it is for us to be ready to share the hope of Christ with those around us when the opportunity arises - like a backup quarterback, we can't afford to sit on the sidelines, unprepared.

This weekend on the show, we’re playing back the highlights from the month of August in our August Recap. We’ve heard a number of great testimonies this month, from Julio Rodriguez ministry through football, Mark Levengood serving and ministering to others despite his total blindness, Dominick Messano’s spirit of perseverance after losing his leg to cancer, and Shaun Smithson’s heart to see athletes find their significance not in trophies, but in Christ.

If you want to listen to any or all of our conversations from each weekend in August but didn't get to listen live, you can listen again to any of our past 99 episodes HERE!
