Daniel 8 in many ways is similar to the previous chapter. We witness both the sovereignty of God over kingdoms of the earth as well as His judgement  to come. For many however, it's passages like this that turn people off Christianity. How could a loving God hand out judgement like we witness here and elsewhere in the Bible?
