⚠️ Content note: This episode discusses suicidal ideation as part of my own personal story.
This isn't a lecture. It's a documentary — my story, and what coaching hundreds of cops has taught me about why pain drives change more than any dream outcome ever will.
I'll walk you through a conversation with a student where the real reason he wanted to change had nothing to do with what he first told me. My uncle, who talked about getting healthy for years — until a heart attack made the pain impossible to ignore. And my own story, one I've never fully told on this show, from high school bullying to a night I came dangerously close to not being here.
You don't have to be anywhere near where I was to make a change. That pain doesn't have to be that big. It just has to be real.
