Beyond the Woodline

In the small town of Hillsboro, Ohio, a dedicated team of paranormal investigators known as Interface Death Paranormal Research has been fearlessly venturing into the realm of the unknown since 2013. Lead by determined and driven founder, Justin Brown, this team of passionate individuals has sought to unravel the mysteries of the afterlife, bridging the gap between the living and the dead. Through their unique blend of scientific methodology and pyschic abilities, Interface Death strives to shed light on the enigmatic phenoma that haunt our world.

Justin Brown's path to the paranormal began with a personal tragedy. After losing his father to a sudden heart attack in 2011, he felt a profound spirtual void in his life. Drawing from the backdrop of paranormal encounters that had surrounded him since his youth, Justin decided to delve deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural. Starting with researching Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP), apparitions, psychic phenomena, he gradually expanded his investigations to encompass a wider range of phenomena.

Samantha is the founder of the team. She began her paranormal journey when she was 17 years old. Sam lost her mother as a child, and she was visited by a spirit one night. After that, Sam began exploring what she experienced. She realized the spirit who had visited her was her mother. This awakened an interest in the field for her, as well as her spiritual abilities. She started investigating with her friends and urban exploring abandoned properties. She also gained an affinity for the macabre, and even spent some time working as an actress at haunted attractions. Samantha identifies as an empath, and if she thinks a location will be active, she has never been wrong!

Chinelle is the co-founder of the team. She has experienced paranormal activity her entire life, although she did not realize what it was until right before her 18th birthday. The house Chinelle grew up in was (and still is) haunted. She can remember being 4 years old, and feeling like she was being watched, or she would see and hear things she didn’t understand. She began watching paranormal TV shows out of pure interest, and she had an awakening. She asked her father about the activity in the home, and his response was “I will tell you the same thing my mother told me as a child. You leave them alone, and they will leave you alone. They aren’t to be feared.” Chinelle knew this was her calling in life then. When asked by others what her dream job was, she learned quickly “to be a ghost hunter” would be met with a lot of interesting reactions. She started joining ghost walks with her friends, diving into historical location research, and learning everything she could about the field. It wasn’t until years later she would begin field investigating, but this laid the foundation for her knowledge, professionalism, and investigation methodology. Chinelle currently has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is working on her master’s degree. She also is an ordained minister and is a pediatric social worker. Chinelle also considers herself both an intuitive and precognitive empath, although others have identified mediumship abilities in her. Jessica is one of the founding members of the team, and she is also one of the lead investigators. Jessica has a calming and nurturing presence, and child spirits are drawn to her. Jessica identifies as a sensitive, and she also has empathic qualities.

Rayna joined the Vixens in October 2019, and she is a lead investigator as well. She brings with her a bit of skepticism and an entire network of people in Nashville she knows from her career as a restaurant general manager.

Rachel is one of the newest Vixens, and she joined in October 2022. Even though she is new, her dedication and commitment earned her the title of Lead investigator quickly.

Emily Murphy joined the Vixens in July 2022. She is a good friend of Rayna and had expressed interest in the field and jumped to join the team when the opportunity arose.

Abigail Gwartney is new to the paranormal field, although she has wanted to be a Vixen since the start! Abby has always had an interest in the paranormal field, which started with urban exploring with her dad at a young age. Abby also comes from a long line of witches, and she is spiritually gifted. Abby joined the team in April, 2023.

Janice Landis became a Vixen in September 2020. She was identified as a medium by a well-respected seasoned investigator, and medium himself. Janice reports having to “shut the spirits” off while investigating, since she will have many trying to speak with her at once.

Erica McElroy joined the Vixens on an investigation of The Thomas House Hotel in December 2021, and became a member of the team in July 2022. Erica also is an owner of a haunted attraction located in Silver Point, TN.

My name is Shannon Teal - named after my great grandmother Edwina Teal who also happens to be one of my guides. I am an astrology based tarot reader who sings, plays and writes music. My passion is directly linked to assisting others in not only finding their purpose but in removing the blocks that are keeping them from actually living it out. I have a super religious background and my spiritual journey has developed and expanded so much since I started practicing tarot in the closet over 5 years ago. I didn’t reveal my gifts publicly until 2020 where I slowly started to peel back the curtain and live in my authentic truth. Flash forward to now where I have a growing community of over 40K + and am now a full time business owner who has embraced their calling. I am blessed to do what I love and even more blessed to be able to help others do the same.

"Jaime Gordon is the co-foundet of Granite Ghost Girls anf owner of Black Moon Events. Her love of the paranormal started as a child, listening to stories about the Warrens from her mother. She began investigation unofficially as a teenager and formed Granite Ghost Girls with her best friend in 2020. Since then, Jaime had investigated all over the US, and recently started a paranormal event company, Black Moon Events. to run ParaCons, Festivals, Faires and investigative events. She's also a partner in The Haunted Mafia, a conglomerate of successful investigative teams and event companies who have teamed up to run bigger and better events, with an average of event per month booked for the 2024 season!"

"I'm Mandy, Co founder of Granite Ghost Girls and Hellfire Paranormal. I've been investigating as part of a team for the past 3 years and into the paranormal for 15+ years. I look forward to hopefully getting more answers to all of the questions we have about the afterlife before I enter it!

Keith had an experience as a child that made him aware of the paranormal. Since then, he's kept an open mind while gradually learning more, and eventually joined Granite Ghost Girls earlier this year, as well as helping Jaime to launch Black Moon Events. His business experience and open minded consideration of the paranormal has been a huge asset to both, and he looks forward to continuing the journey of learning and experiencing the paranormal.
