In this episode, I’m diving into a phrase many parents hear from professionals: “Let’s just wait and see.” While that advice can sound calm and reasonable, it can also leave parents feeling uneasy—especially when their instincts tell them something might not be right with their child. I share my own experiences as a parent who was told I was overreacting, and how ignoring that inner voice led to years of unanswered questions about my daughter’s health and sleep.
We explore why parental intuition is actually valuable data, how common childhood behaviors—like mouth breathing, restless sleep, or picky eating—may be signals rather than “phases,” and why awareness matters more than fear. I also talk about the powerful connection between breathing, sleep, the nervous system, and behavior, and how shifting from “wait and see” to “watch and notice” can help parents feel more grounded and empowered.
