[8] እግዚአብሔር አምላክ በምሥራቅ፣ በዔድን የአትክልት ስፍራ አዘጋጀ፤ ያበጀውንም ሰው በዚያ አኖረው።

የአትክልት ስፍራው “በምሥራቅ፣ በኤደን” ነበር። ምሥራቅ የሚናገረው ስለ ተስፋና ስለ አዲስ ጅማሬ ነው፤ ኤደን ደግሞ የሚናገረው ስለ ደስታና ስለ ሀሴት ነው። እነዚህ የሰው ልጅ ሕይወቱ እንዲያብብ የሚያስችሉ ነገሮች ናቸው።

In Luke 4:16-21, Jesus entered the synagogue in his home town and read from Isaiah 61 proclaiming good news to the poor, freedom for prisoners, recovery of sight for the blind, and release for the oppressed. Then He said, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." It can be assumed that He said this because it didn't seem like it.

What happens at Youth Camp isn't meant to stay at Youth Camp. The success of anything we do in the Kingdom of God is measured by its transferability, what God is doing among us must outlive us!

We are excited to see what God did through our young people at Youth Camp. Transferability: the Glory is not coming, the Glory is here.

If we are truly thinking about the Kingdom we must have an eye on what is coming next.

Psalm 78 gives us a picture of the heart of God: the testimony of God is not meant to stop with us. We are called to make sure that what we have received is transferred.

“Things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us… We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.”

[10] He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

God’s voice brings life and healing. So why did Adam hide from it in fear? The problem wasn't God's voice, it was the state of Adam's conscience. A guilty conscience acts like a dirty window, It distorts the light. While Adam tried to cover things over with external leaves, God's real focus is our inner clothing. Through the blood of Jesus, our consciences are cleansed so we can step out of hiding and live free from condemnation.
