  • A Biblical Perspective on Politics for the Christian

Dr. Don Trest teaches from Isaiah 32 contrasting the coming rule of Christ with our current corrupted political system. We keep hoping that if we elect the "right" person that all will be well but scripture reinforces the truth that all are tempted by sin and that no human government will bring us the peace, prosperity, security, and liberty we are longing for.

  • Faith in God or in Human Government?

Dr. Don Trest teaches from Isaiah 30 the important truth that Israel would be judged for their arrogance and trust in their own government and might instead of seeking the Lord for their salvation from the Assyrians. Are we trusting in the Lord today and living by His Word or are we also placing our faith in our nation's government and military might?
