BGM: Bad Gay Movies = Bitchy Gay Men

It’s a time of isolation but we refuse to stop whining about bad gay movies!  Bil, Daniel and Mike try to beat the quarantine blues by delving into a romantic drama based on a classic.  Is this film a successful adaptation of Pride and Prejudice?  Listen and find out as the boys talk about Before The Fall by Byrum Geisler

Nobody loves a cautionary tale more than we do, and as it turns out, there’s a lot to be cautious about when dating younger men, as Bil, Daniel and their fabulous returning special guest Ryan G. Hinds learned when they watched (and then tried to forget) Daddy by Gerald McCullouch

Brian Francis is making great art at Buddies In Bad Times this week, so what better way to reward his efforts than to make him watch a bad gay movie?  Just before his Box 4901 makes its way to the stage, he joins Bil and Daniel to talk about The Rainbow Bridge Motel by Scott Rubin, J. Garrett Vorreuter.

Some movies really just speak for themselves, don’t they?  At least that’s what we thought in trying to figure out the madness of this week’s film, which baffled us so much that I think we spoke for longer than it took to watch it.  Join Bil, Daniel and returning guest Annemieke Wade as they dissect Seat in Shadow by Henry Coombes.

Everyone knows that disco is the place where straight white people find their true expression, so Bil and Dan were happy to be joined by their delightfully young friend Gregory Rosebrugh for their Gay But Not Gay episode where they could explain to him the Oscar-winning classic Thank God It’s Friday by Robert Klane
