Jessi and Joe talk about their experience at the lakes area game fest

We're back after a week off to celebrate the holidays, and it's time to announce the winners of The Gaming Hub's 2018 awards! All nominees, and ultimately the winners, were chosen exclusively by our community! Which game will win game of the year? Which game was the best console exclusive of 2018? We also announce winners in the best shooter, best sports/racing game, best independent game, and best action/adventure game categories. We've had many comments and questions asking us what our plans are for 2019. We take some time to talk about where the show and community have gone in 2018, and offer a glimpse of what new content and plans we have for the year ahead. This includes what we want to do for the show, additional content on Twitch and YouTube, and our hopes for the coverage we can bring for E3 and other gaming shows in 2019. We also detail all the newest releases, and answer community questions - including new voice mail questions -  in our Fan Mail segment! Jessi and Joe talk about the games they would like to hit the table in 2019

Joe and Tom talk about their most anticipated games of 2019

This week, we discuss the code names for the rumored next-gen Xbox consoles that were leaked this week. With two different versions of the console supposedly coming, we talk about whether that could help Xbox avoid the pricing issues they experienced in 2013. Also, which one of the two are we most likely to get? Also, the first Razer keyboard and mouse combination for the Xbox One was detailed this week - how much does it cost and are we excited to get one? With the holidays now here, we take some time to discuss our favorite holiday movies, TV shows, and traditions. Steven goes on a rant about how to play board games during family gatherings, especially when it comes to playing these games with children. Finally, we also get into the debate over whether movies like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon are Christmas movies. We also detail all the newest releases, and answer community questions - including new voice mail questions -  in our Fan Mail segment, and have a huge announcement regarding our biggest giveaway ever! Jessi and Joe talk about their favorites from 2018

With there being very little gaming news this week, we turn our attention to the past and revisit the biggest video game stories of 2018. Will The Game Awards' Game of the Year decision make our list? We also discuss Xbox's complete year in general, PlayStation's decision to not attend E3 2019, the large gap between consoles in the quality of first-party games, 5and how Nintendo Switch continues to dominate console sales. In addition, we discuss Nintendo's online service and whether or not it meets the standards of what's expected in 2018, PlayStation's sudden change in opinion on cross-play, and Xbox's push to lead the way in making gaming accessible to gamers with disabilities. Finally, we revisit the story of Sony skipping E3 2019 and not holing a PSX in 2018, and that the ramifications of that decision are moving forward. We also detail all the newest releases, and answer community questions - including new voice mail questions -  in our Fan Mail segment, and give the eleventh clue in our biggest giveaway ever! Jessi and Joe talk about two player games

This week, we talk about the announcements and winners from The Game Awards, which took place this past week. There were a fair number of surprises in both new games announced and winners of some of the categories. We discuss and debate both here. Ultimately, was the winner of Game of the Year the right choice? There were a ton of new games announced on the show as well, and we cover the biggest ones here too. We discuss Ashen, The Outer Worlds, and Hades - are any of us looking forward to any of them? We also got to see more of Anthem, and we discuss whether we're excited for Bioware's AAA title that's just two months away. Finally, we got to see Far Cry: New Dawn and Mortal Kombat 11 was announced. We discuss both here/ We also detail all the newest releases, and answer community questions - including new voice mail questions -  in our Fan Mail segment, and give the tenth clue in our biggest giveaway ever!
