In the 37th verse of chapter 2 of Bhagavad Gita for happiness, Krishna explains to Arjuna that this fight will only yield beneficial results for him. If Arjuna wins, he will rule the most prestigious kingdoms on planet earth. But even if he loses and dies on the battlefield, Arjuna will be given access to heaven. In either case, Arjuna only has to gain from this war.
