Hello ladies, gents, and non binary folx! Happy Black History Month and Happy belated Valentine's Day! This episode is part 1 of 2 of our Black Love episodes! We are joined by Tinu Akinwande and Pascal Adesina who are not strangers to the podcast and are recent university graduates. Tinu earned her Bachelors in Political Science with a concentration in Public Affairs and Policy Analysis with a double major in African Studies from Carleton University and Pascal earned his Bachelors in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law and a minor in Linguistics from McMaster University. In this episode, we discuss black love relating to familial, platonic, and self love. We have a raw conversation on how our upbringing affected our perception of love, our own self love journeys as young Black people, and what love truly is.
