This message kicks off our Missions Conference. Our Missionary Josh Mead to Senegal shared a challenge from the book of John about glorifying God in our lives and continuing in His word as disciples. Being a follower of Christ is more than just a discipline of living it is a discipline that brings life.

This morning, we will be challenged about prayer and the importance of it in our lives. It is so easy to say that we will pray for someone, or tell them they are in our prayers but is that what prayer is really all about? How consistent and effective is your prayer life?

Often times in life we know what is right to do. That doesn't mean that we do it. There is a constant struggle between trusting in God's ways and leaning on our own understanding. Today, Pastor Yeomans will challenge you to take the risk and live life the way God intented you to! You won't regret it.

This morning Pastor Yeomans will be continuing our Series in Colossians and challenging us to invest in the Kingdom of God. So often we are short sighted. Looking for instant return and gratification. Serving God requires a look to the future. Sacrifice and invest now and God will take care of the future.
