This episode is for anyone who keeps a tally of who owes us, what we think God owes us, and what we deserve. We invite you to lose count of offenses against you and forgive as Christ called us to, to freely hold up open hands that gladly give and receive, to lose count of your righteousness and acts of right living and to lose count of your failures!
Text:
Matthew 18:21-35 (Forgiveness)
Deuteronomy 15:1-11 (Giving)
Matthew 23:1-12 (Righteousness)
Psalms 103:11-13 (Failures)
In our Waymaker Series we learn from Jesus' miracles and His reaction towards the people He loves the most: the desperate, the low, the needy. Today our reading is from Luke 5:17-26 which tells the story of Jesus healing the paralytic man lifted from the roof.
In 2 Timothy 1:15 we get introduced to a man by the name of Onesiphorus (Say that 5 times fast!) who was some one that got to be a refresher to Paul's life. In this podcast we narrow what type of person we get to be in this world, Fountains or Drains?
New Year, New You. A lot of goals for this year might be reading the Bible more often! Why should we even study the Bible in the first place?
Part 2 of the many promises God grants to believers who need hope in the midst of singleness.
In a culture where the church world tends to be dismissive towards singles the Bible has great truths and unchanging promises to maximize your singleness and joy in the Lord. In this podcast we discuss the pain and sorrow singleness can bring and 10 promises God gives us.
Often times we know what a successful man or woman might look like or what it takes to achieve the recognition, but what about in terms of Christianity? In today's podcast we examine what the makings of a successful Christian look like.
I don't know if you've ever been put in a fearful or dreadful experience where you just tell God "i'm done!". Today we read of a man of God faced with circumstances that drove him to being done with his life! God is so faithful and good to us showing each one of his followers what to do when we're done.
What do we do as believers when we fluctuate between living the highs and lows in life? Luke 9:28-56 gives us a beautiful picture that when we take our eyes off ourselves and keep serving people Jesus, we will always stay focused!
Maybe you're in a season where nothing is happening and you have no idea what to do or where to go to find clarity and direction. What does the Bible have to say about what you should be doing in your life right now?
