This week on Bible and Bourbon we will study the travelers known as the Wisemen, Kings, or Magi. We will discuss what their visit meant to early Christians and how it was viewed by King Herod.

This week on Bible and Bourbon with Pastor Ben we will study the 4th chapter of Jonah. We will see Jonah complain to God about the salvation of the Nivevites. God will show Jonah through the life and death of a plant the error of his ways. Additionally, God will also allow us to learn something from Jonah to take into our own life. 

This week on Bible and Bourbon with Pastor Ben we will study the 3rd chapter of Jonah. We will see Jonah complete his mission and preach God's word to the people of Ninevah. The people full accept God's words and repent, but it seems like this is not what Jonah hoped for. 

Jonah is trapped in the belly of a big fish, however, while he is in the fish he offers a rather unique prayer. 

Learn what happens when Jonah is confronted with stormy seas. How does he face the anger of God differently than those sailors around him? 

Jonah is one of the oddest books of the Bible. People often see it as nothing more than a story about a man and a whale, but there is a lot more going on in this short book. This week we will try to understand the background of the book before studying the first four verses.
