We continue to read through the Old Testament books seeing how the people of Israel react in light of God's directing. This week we finish the book of Jeremiah and move into another book of the prophets called Ezekiel.

The audio Bible in a year week 31 continues through the book of Jeremiah, putting it into chronological order with the other Old Testament books. We continue to see reform and disaster within the Israelite people.

In this recap at the end of week 30, we look back over the last two weeks and look at the background to the book of Jeremiah and the events that have led to this point. We also think about two verses in Jeremiah which might hold the key to everything!

Audio Bible in a year week 29 takes us through more of Isaiah, Kings and Chronicles as we continue to see/hear the story of the these Kings and their people unfolding. You would think they would catch on by now, but it seems they can't!!

We are now into the second half of the Bible and it begins with a Psalm proclaiming 'Sing for joy to God our strength, shout in triumph'. May that be our thought and joy as we head into week 27 and through the book of Isaiah.

In this recap at the end of week 26 we look back over what is a common occurence throughout the Bible; the call to repentance. We look specificially at this in the story of Jonah and how we can learn from that.
