Are we truly anticipating the return of Christ? Are we looking forward with anticipation and eagerness, or are we partially hoping that his return is delayed? The life of a Christian is one where God calls us to live in eager anticipation of our time with Him, and if we find ourselves more focused on other things or hesitant to embrace that future, it may be a reflection on our faith? There are three questions we ought to ask ourselves:
- Do I want to be truly free from sin?
- Do I want to be justified in my faith? 
- Do I want to be with Jesus above all else?

Why does the resurrection of Jesus matter? Because it paved the way for our own resurrection - a bodily resurrection that will allow us to take part in the eternal reward promised by God through Christ.
