The New Testament shows us the mystery meanings of the Old Testament, all of which are brought about in New Testament times and all of which point to Christ. Just as there was a small remnant that returned from Babylon (Isaiah 10:20-23), Isaiah is also pointing to the remnant from Jews and Gentiles who are saved only by God's merciful election.
