Bible Prophecy Archives - Stand Up For The Truth Podcast

We discuss prophetic end-times scenarios, the timing of the rapture and global events related to Bible Prophecy.

NEW! The Disappearing: Future Events That Will Rock the World

Each hour brings troubling headlines. Every report seems more intrusive upon our daily lives than the previous, and all accounts appear to be setting the end-time stage for the soon fulfillment of God’s prophetic Word. The world is turned upside down… All rational thought has turned to wickedness―toward the dark side. Our times seem like the “days of Noah,” just as Jesus Christ described… The greatest event since Christ’s resurrection is soon coming: the Rapture! The Disappearing: Future Events That Will Rock the World presents the wind-up of human history. It’s the conclusion of the greatest story ever told. What we’re witnessing today is about to bring down the curtain of prophecy’s final act. “And when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28).

We discuss recent news stories and demonic agendas affecting Christians and destroying our Republic: U.S. Senate voting to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (denying God-ordained, natural marriage) and give special rights to the LGBTQ; population control agendas, the fact Satan uses people to further death and destruction of lives and countries, and how the enemy uses modern “healthcare,” pharmaceuticals, the Marxist media, and government propaganda.

On today’s podcast, David and Mary highlight some recent news and headlines of interest to Bible-believing Christians. Worldly churches, apostate “pastors,” and entertaining services are all too common these days. The attack on children involving transgender surgeries and hormones is something that has caught many people off guard.

In segment 2, hear the discussion about the role of the church and Christians in America relating to being salt and light, in the world but not of the world, and how to avoid compromising and being unequally yoked with those who deny God and truth.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them

17 Therefore

“Come out from among them

TODAY’S GUEST, Jonathan Brentner is a Christian author, speaker, writer, and former pastor. He writes weekly for his blog “Our Journey Home” providing sound Biblical understanding and commentary on prophecy and world events. He is the author of The Triumph of the Redeemed – An eternal Perspective that Calms our Fears in Perilous Times. And his brand new book is called Cancel This: What Today’s Church can learn from the Bad Guys of the Bible.

In segment 2, we discuss Good Friday, fulfilled prophecies, Jesus’ sacrifice, the empty tomb, and why believers can trust in the gospel and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We open the podcast with Jonathan Brentner and talk about his brand new book, “Cancel This: What Today’s Church can learn from the Bad Guys of the Bible.”

Why read a book about biblical characters who messed up? Because we can learn so much from them by taking a close look at what led to their disastrous decisions and lack of sound judgment at critical times in their lives.

CANCEL THIS, Bad Guys of the Bible examines how anger, bitterness, greed, pride, and unforgiving spirit, and a desire for vengeance led these men down dark paths that ultimately shipwrecked their lives. To help further integrate the powerful lessons we can learn from these men, each chapter concludes with thought-provoking questions to help readers apply solid biblical truths to their own lives through personal or group Bible study.

TODAY’S GUEST: Dr. JB HIXSON – author, conference speaker, and pastor of Plum Creek Chapel and founder of Not By Works Ministries, his latest book is Spirit of the Antichrist – the Gathering Cloud of Deception. He and his wife, Wendy live in Sedalia, Colorado.

JB’s latest books, volumes 1 and 2, expose deeds of darkness on a global, historical level and feature extensive research. Today, we discuss anti-Christ spirits including the spirit of pride, perversion, and persecution as evil is called good and Christians in America are clearly being targeted at increasing rates.

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. John 15:18-20

TODAY’S GUEST: Pete Garcia is a retired military veteran and aviator, writer, speaker, and teacher of Bible prophecy and apologetics. He has a BA in International Relations and wrote for Jack Kinsella’s The Omega Letter from 2011-2018. Pete has written over 500 articles, has contributed chapters to two books Terry James published including Discerners and Lawless, and is happily married and has five children. His latest book is The Disappearing.

Who blew up the Nordstream pipelines? What really happened and why most media has not investigated who has motive and who has culpability? Pete Garcia discusses and speculates.

“A world with two competing spheres of influence, separated not by totalitarian or democratic agendas (they are both totalitarian beasts), but by who gets to hold the reigns of said beast. With the strategic bombing of the Nordstream 1 (NS1) and Nordstream 2 (NS2) pipelines, the balance of power may have just shifted eastward…at least temporarily.” Pete Garcia
