Each month we've been taking your questions about the sections of the bible that we've been reading and then spending some time talking through some possible answers. This month it was Jeremiah. You can jump through to the questions at these points:
(1:31) Jeremiah 1:1
Did Jeremiah ever take up his role as a priest?
(14:09) Jeremiah 4:10 & 20:7
The Lord does not deceive his people, what is going on and why would Jeremiah think this?

Jeremiah 4:23
This makes me think of the garden of Eden before it was formed. Could this be when the Lord takes Heaven and earth back to the very start. Like the potter to start afresh?

Jeremiah 22:24 & 30
If no one from Jehoiachin's (A descendant of David) line would ever be ruler of Judah or sit on Davids throne, how could the promised Messiah later claim to be from Davids line?

Jeremiah 31:29-31
Does this mean that God did punish children for the sins of the parents at one time?

Jeremiah 36:30
Was this a failed prophecy as Jehoiakim's son Jehoiachin succeeded him?
