The second chapter of the Gospel According to John. Jesus performs His first miracle, and his disciples confess that He is truly the Son of God.

Today we begin reading the Gospel According to John, one of my favorite Books of the Bible. In this session we read all of chapter 1, where John the narrator of this book declares that In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word, was God.....and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The last chapter of the Gospel According to Matthew....spoiler alert..."He has Risen"!

As we come to a close, Jesus is tried, abused, and crucified, just as He predicted. His disciples for the most part abandoned Him. He has been placed in a tomb, and a stone has ceiled it shut. Guards are protecting the tomb to make sure no fanatics steal the body. 

Fear not...

We're coming to the end of the Gospel according to Matthew. Jesus predicts His betrayal, and the disciples scatter when Jesus is arrested. Peter, Jesus right hand man, denies Him three times.

Fear not.

Shall we continue? In this passage, Jesus describes what the end of the age will look like, and how we should prepare for His return.

Good day family. Let's keep going in this Gospel According to Matthew. Jesus has made a Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem, and hows now entered the beloved Jewish temple...on a righteous rampage! (hah in a good way) Addressing those who were making a mockery of God's Holy House of Prayer.

Waddup family! The Word of God, let's get it! Jesus reveal His Glory to three of His closest disciples, and then proceeds to tell the rest of His disciples of His death burial and resurrection. We're starting to see the full picture of Jesus' life here on Earth.
