Do you ever wonder about Jesus? Why did God send Him? What was so important? How do we know that He was the Messiah? Former lawyer turned kindergarten teacher, Kim Erickson, shows us a road map to see the truth about Jesus in Isaiah, all while guiding us towards digging for the truth ourselves.
KIM ERICKSON began following Christ after the death of her three-year-old son. Jesus and the Bible
saved Kim from the pit of grieving the loss of a child. Kim began a writing and teaching ministry to
help other women find outrageous joy from a deeper relationship with God. You can learn more at
www.KimAErickson.com.
Kim is the author of His Last Words: What Jesus Taught and Prayed in His Final Hours, Surviving
Sorrow: A Mother’s Guide to Living with Loss, and Predicting Jesus: A Six-Week Study of the
Messianic Prophecies of Isaiah. Kim is an attorney and kindergarten teacher. She lives in Florida with
her husband, Devin, and son, Ethan. She would love to hear from you through email:

Do you struggle with picturing Scripture, the people and places, as real history? In this conversation with Kari Bartkus, we explore what imaginative prayer is and how we can use it in our Bible study time.
Seeing far too many people go through hardship alone, Kari Bartkus became determined to show up and be present when those around her were hurting. Through her work at Love Does That, she serves as a spiritual director to hurting Christian women, but she uses a modern-day letter writing approach perfect for those drawn to quiet spaces and written words.

Over the next 40 days, we will travel through the Bible together and pray through different verses. I have provided passages for you to pray through, and given a sample prayer to get you started. Your prayers don’t have to look exactly like my prayers. In fact, I would say they probably won’t. That’s okay! Our goal is to get to know God better and to get more comfortable with praying through His Word.
Each of the 40 days is leading us through a day of Lent, and *spoiler alert* we will finish with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. If you happen to find this podcast and it is not Lent, or if you happen to get off track during the Lenten season, no worries. Because of Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, we get to have a personal relationship with God and are not bound by dates in a book or on a calendar. We don’t have to work our way into His good graces, and we can experience true and lasting joy as a result. The episodes will start on March 2 and will run through Easter, April 17th. Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss an episode.
