  • Lesson 12 - The Book of Zechariah
The sermon introduces the first of eight visions in the book of Zechariah, defining resilience as an inner strength grounded in trust that God remains in control. It contrasts Old Testament revelations through dreams and visions with the sufficiency of Scripture in the current dispensation, emphasizing that new supernatural experiences are unnecessary for believers. The speaker explains that biblical understanding requires the illumination of the Holy Spirit, which was not available to prophets before the New Covenant. By examining Zechariah 1:8-13, the message highlights how God uses symbolic imagery to remind His people of His sovereignty and mercy despite their hardships. This study aims to encourage faithfulness and steady trust in God's plan during times of difficulty.

  • Rediscovering God's Word
Scripture can be neglected, forgotten, and overlooked, even among God's people. When the Book of the Law was found, King Josiah humbled himself, listened to its message, and led the nation in repentance and renewed obedience. We too must open the Bible with new desire, allowing God's Word to expose our sin, restore our worship, and guide our lives. When we rediscover Scripture, we rediscover God's truth, holiness, mercy, and call to faithful living.

When Jesus Has First Place, Everything Else Finds Its Proper Place Colossians 1:15–18 KJV Life constantly competes for our attention through work, possessions, schedules, entertainment, relationships, worries, and ambitions. Yet Paul declares that Jesus Christ is to have "the preeminence." I want to challenge every believer to examine whether Christ merely has a place in their lives or truly has first place. The message develops three truths: I. Nothing Is More Important Than Knowing Jesus II. Nothing Is More Important Than Putting Jesus First III. When Jesus Becomes Most Important, Everything Else Finds Its Proper Place "If Jesus is the most important Person in my life, does the way I live prove it?" A gospel-centered message calling the lost to Christ and believers back to a life where Jesus has first place in all things. And I think Colossians 1:18 is exactly the right anchor: "that in all things he might have the preeminence.
