We are daily making choices and hoping for the best possible outcome. No one wants to make a choice that ends badly. Yet, in today's Bible study, we see Peter made a bad choice.

After Judas' betrayal, there was a gap in the disciples' group. Looking at Acts 1, we see them choosing a new apostle. We also get to see the error of the method they chose.

One of the most frustrating places for Christians is that space between what God said and your daily reality. Many times, we receive a promise from God or believe one from scripture. When people become born again, they come into a new life through Christ Jesus. Believers become citizens of the Kingdom of God. You could say our spiritual nationalities changed. It is expected that this change of citizenship should bring about a change of lifestyle but for many believers, this is not so.

To reap the benefits of that citizenship and experience a different life in Christ, the Apostle Paul tells us what to do in Colossians 3: 1-11. In this Bible study, we learn about our citizenship and how to use our thoughts and actions to reap the benefits. Listen and be blessed.

There's a part that many of us Christians would like to scratch out of the Bible. Jesus said in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

The reality for believers is that there will be tribulation. Being a Christian doesn't exempt you from tribulations. If we can't escape hardship and troubles, what should we do? Looking at Isaiah 30: 20-21 TPT and Romans 5: 1-5, we learn that there is hope and help for us through hardship.

If God has called you to do anything, you may have felt inadequate at some point. Or you may be feeling inadequate even now. You may be looking at the work He has asked you to do and it seems like a mammoth task.

God wants His children to hear Him. It is expected that His children not only hear His voice but follow Him. When God speaks, it is clear and leads us in the direction He wants.

In this Bible study, starting from Habakkuk 2 and moving into the Acts of the Apostles, we learn how God speaks. We see the Holy Spirit speaking clearly to Paul hearing an audible voice. We see how angels are God's mouthpiece and how we can set ourselves to hear God through reading the Bible and praying in tongues.
