In this episode, we’ll be talking about the clarity or perspicuity of Scripture. The topic came up when I was talking about tattoos and how they are part of the ceremonials law, which are no longer binding because their substance is Christ and how they're the same as the food, drink, and clothing laws. 

But it was brought up that many Christians have a varying interpretation of the texts, but I was adamant about the perspicuity of Scripture. So, we'll see why this doctrine is important.

Today we are going to be talking about baptism, in particular, we are going to look at the difference between the baptism of John and that of Jesus. We are gonna see how water baptism is the lesser of the greater baptism by the Holy Spirit by fire. 

I hope by the end of this episode you will have a new understanding of the spiritual significance of baptism and how water baptism is an illustration of the inward baptism by the Holy Spirit.

I’m going to be focusing on one of the three analogies James uses in regards to the tongue: one about a horse found in verse 3.
