Ruth is one of the bible women stories that everyone must read. I think it is incredible that a single woman by the name "Ruth" had a whole book written about her in the bible.  She was raised in heathenism with baby sacrifices for their religion, lost her husband early and took a gigantic leap of faith to follow her embittered mother in law to another country.  This is a woman that God never wanted us to forget.  Even more,  we must understand that before she eventually became an incredible mom, she was first an incredible single woman.
