The marketing teams from Madison Avenue have done a good job of giving most of us Americans the bad case of the wants.  We have been told that we will not be happy unless we have something else that's newer, bigger, better and shinier than what we already have.  It is their job to create perceived needs in us so that we will go and buy what they are selling.  It is our job to discern between God's Word and their advertisements and see how it lines up with what God says.

Be baptized everyone of you. It's amazing today how many people proclaim faith in Jesus Christ and never have been baptized.  Jesus, after His resurrection, was giving a command to the apostles and  to the rest of the church’s disciples in Matthew 28 to go out there! Evangelize and tell people about the truth of Jesus Christ.  When they repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus, then make them into disciples! Ruth is one of the bible women stories that everyone must read. I think it is incredible that a single woman by the name "Ruth" had a whole book written about her in the bible.  She was raised in heathenism with baby sacrifices for their religion, lost her husband early and took a gigantic leap of faith to follow her embittered mother in law to another country.  This is a woman that God never wanted us to forget.  Even more,  we must understand that before she eventually became an incredible mom, she was first an incredible single woman.
