When you are looking at leadership differently you must remember that leadership is a God-given grace that not everyone possesses. You may have a position of leadership but that doesn't guarantee that you have the gift. This is why we have many problems in government, schools, businesses and even churches that go unresolved. How can one know if they have this leadership gift? When giving thanks for another day, the first pilgrims who came over on the Mayflower boat went through some very trying times.  Due to the food shortages, sickness and cold, many of them lost spouses, children and other family members.  Yet, on their first Autumn of 1621, 100 local Pokanoket Indians joined them in a meal which became known as the first thanksgiving meal.  They could have focused on the loss and pain, but rather chose to give thanks to God for His blessings.  Thanksgiving for many of us can also remind us of our lost loved ones who have gone onto their reward in heaven, but we too, must choose in faith, to give thanks to our generous God for all His blessings.   Pastor Paul shares a bit of truth and wisdom imparting the life of Christ through teaching God's Word.  #truth, #wisdom, #paulheidtministries, #abitoftruth

Pastor Paul Heidt shares a bit of truth and wisdom as he explains that there is a law in our world that is both natural and spiritual.  The most common analogy of it is farming.  The bible calls is sowing and reaping.  Some people call it: What goes around comes around; you only get what you deserve; you made your bed, now lie in it.   All of these sayings really refer to what is known as the laws of the harvest.  If people learn it while they are young, it will set them up for favor and success with both God and man.
