This week we will study John 8:12. In John 8:12, we see that Jesus declares His second, I AM statement. There are seven I AM statements in the book of John, each one is extremely important. Jesus spoke to them again and said “I AM the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Today is Good Friday, the day we remember the crucifixion. We see that Jesus was crucified in between two criminals at the place called the skull. The criminal changed his eternity when he said, Jesus, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom. Right then he was saved; salvation is that simple.
