On this episode of The Antithesis, Dr. Strachan offers up some more considerations on Christ and Caesar issues. We hope it proves a profitable time of thinking for all listeners. How do we conduct ourselves as citizens of earthly countries while still being members of the Kingdom?
1. We recall that we are in implacable conflict with the world.
2. We seek to submit to Caesar as much as possible.
3. We also recognize that submission is not and cannot be unbounded among men.
4. We remember that the terms of our citizenship matter—and we use our rights.
5. We remember that there are biblical examples of godly people defying tyranny and evil.
6. We define love of neighbor properly.
7. We think in terms of jurisdiction and sphere sovereignty.
