Episode Questions:
What is vision/Who should have it?
Jeremiah 23:16 - "This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD."
Proverbs 29:18 - "Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction."
Why should I trust God’s vision for my life?
Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
Psalms 23:5-6 - "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
How do I get God’s vision for my life?
Psalm 5:3 - "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up."
Acts 18:9-10 - "One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”
Habakkuk 2:1-3 - "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry."
Proverbs 16:3 - “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
