Every relationship serves a need, but not relationships are for every day and season.  Identifying what a relationship means in your life and giving it the right kind of nurture and space can be one of the best decisions for growth and advancement, any man may make.

Do you know those in your life?  Can you tell what their role is and can you especially tell when their season is over?

A return to default settings are the easiest ways to find your way or figure out your next move should you get lost. It is also how you resolve problems you are not able to figure out.  So when all goes south, we are advised to return where we started, and this is our True North.

The relationship button, however, should not always return to default settings.  Because while default works for most things, most default relationships lose their relevance and the man who wants to continue to win needs to be open to new ones.

When was the last time you checked your relationship meter?  Is it still in default?

Everyone talks about discovering their sweet spot and that is critical to an effective life but how many of us have given any consideration to our True North?

True North is that a man's orienting point in an ever spinning world.  That belief, value, and principle that form a man's stability.  Do you know yours?  What are the hallmarks of True North?
