Brett kicks off the program by talking about the attempted ban of the photo of a World War II Navy sailor kissing a woman in Time Square, New York, on Victory in Japan day from all Veterans Affairs locations across the country. This iconic photo is a symbol of the allied victory in WWII and is largely referred to as "The Kiss," the photo was captured by Alfred Eisenstaed.   

With all the issues facing America today, the Biden administration decided that this was the most important issue that required an immediate response. Not the border crisis, not inflation, not overseas wars costing human lives and billions of American tax dollars; the iconic photo that captured the atmosphere of an America celebrating the saving of the world from the Axis powers determined to overthrow the world.
