College Football Week 1 gave us two coaching debuts and only one of them was real. Lane Kiffin dropped 51 on Clemson in Baton Rouge and led 31-3 at halftime. Kyle Whittingham left 21 years at Utah for Ann Arbor and needed a second the officials put back on the clock to beat Western Michigan as a 27.5 point favorite.

College Football Week 2 is the real test. Ohio State at Texas with the Longhorns favored by a point and a half. Oklahoma at Michigan. Oregon on the road in Stillwater, and we ask whether Ducks fans should already be worried.

Then the NFL. The Super Bowl favorite Rams pulled Aaron Donald out of retirement to line up next to Myles Garrett, and we break down how scared the other 31 teams should be. Big Ben has the numbers on how new head coaches do in Week 1, and there are 10 of them this year including Arizona and Las Vegas. It is not pretty.
