Acclaimed classical pianist, composer and producer Hunter Noack, discusses how his music connects people with nature, and his National Parks Arts Foundation artist residency at Haleakala National Park in Maui, Hawaii. He will spend the month of December 2017 in this volcanic wonderland, working and composing. Noack also will perform a concert that is free and open to the public, at a nearby school. Noack plans to work on a composition during his time at the park, which he sees as a unique opportunity for artists like himself, to work onsite and in context with traditions that inspire all Americans.

Lindsay Bellows, a one-woman/loop pedal powered songwriter and performer, discusses her debut EP 'Wake to Dream' that showcases a fresh sound that weaves together light-hearted folk/pop with fierce R&B vocals.

Given her background as a one-woman/loop pedal powered songwriter and performer, the WAKE TO DREAM EP started as an all-acapella project; however, during the recording process at Cedarsong Sound in Northern CA, Lindsay and Grammy Award-winning engineer/producer Spencer Williams agreed that, without the excitement of building a song from scratch in a live setting, the recordings needed something more. As a result, collaborators were invited to add instrumentation and embellishment to the original vocal loops, finally creating the perfect groove.
