Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart will make his pro debut for the New York Giants in Saturday's preseason opener at Buffalo - that much we are sure of, according to head coach Brian Daboll, who has discussed his plans for the team's first-round pick.

And given Daboll's remarks about how important it is for rookies to get preseason snaps, it's also very likely fellow first-round pick Abdul Carter will receive some time on defense.

However, Daboll did not reveal anything else about his deployment plans, so it's anybody's guess as to who will start and how many snaps will be given to any of his players.
