  • Should the Giants Trade for Marvin Harrison Jr.? | Mock Trade
Marvin Harrison Jr. trade rumors are everywhere, so should the Giants make the call? The No. 4 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft has 5 catches for 85 yards in four games and the league is calling the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals have given no indication they want to trade him, per ESPN's Dan Graziano. Adam Schefter says it would not be a surprise if Harrison is moved before the Nov. 10 trade deadline, and the Colts are already making calls. Executives told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler his value is a quality Day 3 pick.
The numbers tell the story. Harrison had 885 yards and 8 touchdowns as a rookie, 608 yards in 12 games in 2025, and 13 targets this season while Trey McBride and Michael Wilson have 90 between them, per Pro Football Reference. Behind Malik Nabers, the Giants' next wide receiver is Malachi Fields with 8 catches.
Then the mock trade: Kayvon Thibodeaux to Arizona for Marvin Harrison Jr., straight up, no picks. Thibodeaux has zero sacks in 2026 and is a free agent in March on a $14.75 million fifth-year option. Harrison is 24 and under contract through 2027 with a 2028 option, per Spotrac. The cost is real: Brian Burns is on injured reserve and the Giants have three sacks in four games.
Straight up, Kayvon Thibodeaux for Marvin Harrison Jr. Who says no, the Giants or the Cardinals? Vote in the comments. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com

  • 🚨 Giants Release Odell Beckham Jr. | Start Jameis or J.J. McCarthy?
The Giants release Odell Beckham Jr. three games into his return: 20 offensive snaps, one target and zero catches, stuck behind Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney and Malachi Fields. We go through why the reunion never fit and what the roster squeeze says about the week.
Then the bigger question. Jaxson Dart is out for the regular season, Jameis Winston is 1-0 as the starter after a 12-7 win over Tennessee, and the Giants just traded a 2027 fifth-round pick for J.J. McCarthy. Winston is completing 51 percent with no touchdown passes in 2026; McCarthy went 6-4 as a starter in Minnesota last year with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. John Harbaugh says Winston starts against Arizona. How long should that last?

  • 🚨 BREAKING: Giants Acquire J.J. McCarthy From the Vikings. Live Reaction
THIS IS A LIVE STREAM REPLAY FROM THE FIRESIDE GIANTS YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
The Giants trade for J.J. McCarthy: the quarterback comes over from the Minnesota Vikings on Monday for a 2027 fifth-round pick, pending a physical, six days after Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee surgery. We react live.
McCarthy went 10th overall in 2024, missed his rookie year on injured reserve, then started 10 games in 2025: 6-4, 140 of 243 for 1,632 yards, 11 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 72.6 passer rating. The Vikings named Kyler Murray their starter in August, and today they moved him for a Day 3 pick.
We break down the price, the contract (a fully guaranteed rookie deal with a 2028 fifth-year option the Giants now control), the John Harbaugh connection to Jim Harbaugh's Michigan title team, and the real question: Jameis Winston starts Sunday against Arizona, but with 229 passing yards in two games, how long does that last? Plus where the 2-1 Giants stand with Dart out and Brian Burns awaiting an MRI.

  • GIANTS BEAT THE TITANS | GAME RECAP & REACTION (LIVE STREAM REPLAY)
THIS EPISODE IS A REPLAY OF A LIVE STREAM ON THE FIRESIDE GIANTS YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
Giants vs Titans reaction, live from the final whistle: Giants 12, Titans 7 at MetLife, the first win without Jaxson Dart, and Brian Burns down with a right knee injury in the fourth quarter. Anthony Rivardo goes live with Alex Wilson of Empire Sports Media.
Jameis Winston went 14 of 22 for 118 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in a nor'easter. Every Giants point came from rookie kicker Dominic Zvada, four for four from 39, 27, 39 and 30 yards. The offense ran it 33 times for 138 yards, Cam Skattebo had 100 from scrimmage, Najee Harris added 52 on nine carries, and the Giants held the ball for 34:26. The red zone number is the problem: 0 for 2, and 4 of 13 on third down.
The defense and Jordan Stout won the game. Stout averaged 50.5 on six punts with three inside the 20 and a 74-yarder. Jevon Holland picked off Cam Ward in the end zone with 17 seconds left, his third interception in three games. Arvell Reese led everyone with 13 tackles. Tennessee gained 262 yards and turned it over twice, including Chimere Dike's fumble on the opening kickoff. All numbers per the ESPN box score.
Then the Burns question. He played six days after spraining his left ankle in Los Angeles and left grabbing the other knee. Cardinals at MetLife next Sunday. Burns down, Winston at 118 yards: is 2-1 real? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com

  • Can the Giants Win Without Jaxson Dart? | Giants vs Titans Preview
Giants vs. Titans Week 3 preview and prediction. Sunday, September 27, 1 PM ET at MetLife Stadium on CBS. The Giants are 1-1 and 2.5-point favorites after the line opened at 5.5 before the Jaxson Dart news.
Jameis Winston makes his 90th career start with Dart on injured reserve after knee surgery. Winston is 3-9 in his last 12 starts and went 11 of 27 for 111 yards in relief at the Rams. Brian Daboll, fired by the Giants at 2-8 in 2025, is now the Titans' offensive coordinator, and Brian Callahan and Dennard Wilson moved the other way.
The Titans are 0-2. Cam Ward has 323 passing yards, one touchdown and no interceptions through two games, and Tennessee has punted on 61.1 percent of its possessions per Sharp Football Analysis, the only team in the league over 50 percent.
Final injury report: Brian Burns (ankle), Deonte Banks (calf) and Tyler Nubin (calf) are questionable, and Burns missed all three practices. Andrew Thomas and Malik Nabers have no designation. For Tennessee, Cor'Dale Flott (quad) and Tyjae Spears (ankle) are questionable and Tony Pollard is off the report.

  • Giants Reportedly in the Quarterback Market | Ranking Their Options
Giants quarterback options after Jaxson Dart's injury, ranked. With Dart out for the regular season after knee surgery, Jameis Winston is the Giants' starter and Jake Haener sits on the practice squad. Now the Giants weigh adding a quarterback, and we rank every option.
The free agents: Jimmy Garoppolo (43-21 as a starter, 67.4% career completion, but no pass attempts in 2025) and Jake Browning, released by Tampa Bay at cutdowns. The trade market: Mac Jones, who went 5-3 filling in for Brock Purdy last season but, per Adam Schefter, would cost a lot, and Gardner Minshew, who played for Giants OC Matt Nagy in Kansas City. The upside swings: J.J. McCarthy, now third string in Minnesota after 11 TDs and 12 INTs in 2025, and Joe Milton, a practice squad arm in Dallas.
Per Schefter, the Giants have not contacted Minnesota about McCarthy or San Francisco about Jones, and will evaluate after Week 3. We give our board, compare every option to Winston's Week 2, and put it to a vote. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com

  • What Should the Giants Do About Tyrone Tracy Jr.? | Trade or Keep?
Tyrone Tracy Jr. played two snaps for the Giants against Dallas, fumbled on the second one, and did not touch the ball again. Then he got sent home Wednesday with what John Harbaugh called a bad flu, while Najee Harris keeps ramping toward his Giants debut. This episode is about what the Giants should do with the running back who led the team in rushing as a rookie.
The number is seven. Tracy has seven fumbles in 33 regular season games since 2024 per Pro Football Reference, and the Week 1 one came on the drive that would have put Dallas away before halftime. Harbaugh said four balls on the ground is not even close to acceptable. Tiki Barber went on the record this week with the fix.
The room is the problem. Cam Skattebo played 41 snaps and ran 18 times for 81 and a touchdown. Devin Singletary ran 18 routes and caught the other touchdown. Najee Harris, four straight 1,000-yard seasons before the Achilles, is on a one-year deal with nothing guaranteed and Harbaugh says the call on Monday night comes by the end of the week. The Giants dress three running backs. Harris makes three without Tracy.
The money is on screen, per Over The Cap: Tracy is $1.15 million this year and signed through 2027, and trading him saves the same $1 million as cutting him, which means a trade is free value and a cut is throwing it away. The keep case is real too. He fumbled once all of last season and he is the only insurance if Skattebo goes down. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com

  • 🚨 NY Giants Injury Report | Banks & Adebo Sidelined | Malik Nabers "Rusty"
Giants Week 2 injury report and the cornerback room is the whole story. Paulson Adebo and Deonte Banks were both out of Thursday's practice. Greg Newsome II was on the field. The Giants play the Rams on Monday night at SoFi against Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
The Adebo situation is four things happening at once. He played nine defensive snaps in Week 1 on a $24.2 million cap hit. Joey Porter Jr. trade talk has had the Giants named as a team to watch all week. New York signed cornerback Jaden Robinson to the practice squad on Wednesday, a six foot corner out of Oregon State whose position coach in Denver, Addison Lynch, is now the Giants defensive backs coach. And Adebo has now missed back to back practices. Any one of those is nothing. Together they are worth talking about. Per Over The Cap, cutting him costs more than keeping him, so a trade is the only clean exit.
Banks was sidelined by cramps in the second half against Dallas and was seen Wednesday with a sleeve on his right lower leg. If he and Adebo cannot go, the room is Newsome, Dru Phillips, rookie Colton Hood and possibly an elevation.
Better news at receiver. Malik Nabers called himself a little sore and manageable, said he was rusty, and said he left probably two touchdowns on the field. He did that on 36 snaps, 52 percent, with 24 routes and nine targets. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See https://pcm.adswizz.com
