When it comes to movies and shows, Hollywood can be a powerful platform that shines a light on stories we often don't hear. But oftentimes, when it comes to the most sensitive topics…even Hollywood can be quiet.

Instead of feeding into stereotypes and stigmas, Jaret Martino focuses on heart-centered storytelling based on real experiences that provide a voice to those who need it the most.

People like his mother, a single mother, and a survivor of domestic violence.

Shifting her pain into a positive, she embarked on a journey of discovering her own voice. And through the talent of Jaret's storytelling, his mother now inspires countless people around the world that they are not alone as they look for the courage to begin their own victim-to-survivor journeys.

Shifters Wisdom:

"The higher you rise, and the more you're shifting, people see bravery. And part of that bravery is the higher you go; there's an equal amount of push pack and negativity. People want to bring you down. I'm continuously learning by exposing stories; it's really important to stay grounded on why you started, what you love, why it's your passion, and why you love what you do every morning. If you don't love it, then change it."

"If you're in an abusive situation, it's not your fault. That is the most important part and message. It's not your fault, and there are possibilities and support no matter what stereotypes and stigmas are present here today and no matter what anyone has to say."

Being one of six kids raised by a single mom in Akron, Ohio, David Meltzer’s mission was to make as much money as possible. Not only to help his mom but also to achieve what he defined as success.

And he crushed it. Only a year out of law school David made $1 million, sold his company for $3 million…and followed a fulfilling career-path where he even served as CEO of the Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency, the famous inspiration for the movie Jerry Maguire.

By the time he was 30, he had the dream house and the dream girl. He could literally buy anything he wanted.

Except happiness.

Shifting from a “not enough” mindset to living a life of abundance, service, and value to others, David created a new mission: Making 1 billion people happy.

This is an episode of redefining success, how to enjoy the journey no matter where it takes you, and how to see pain as a turn signal rather than a stop sign.

Shifters Wisdom:

“What keeps me on the move are three things: make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun. Pursuing my potential in all three areas, that pursuit is endless, and the enjoyment of that pursuit is critical and that is the essence of my expansion and growth.

I recently had a chance to test ride the new electric bicycles from Serial 1 Cycle Company, the e-bike company spun off from Harley-Davidson. The bikes are great, you can check out my first impression on our YouTube channel.

I also had the chance to have a conversation, which you will hear here, with the President of Serial 1, Jason Huntsman.

Jason has a strong background in the EV space, and we talk about why spinning off Serial 1 from Harley-Davidson was a brilliant idea, giving them the agility of a startup, but access to all the engineering knowledge and facilities of Harley.

We talk about Serial 1’s new line of bikes, where people can try them, and where the brand is going.

Without further adieu, here’s Jason.
