  • Episode 841: David Benavidez, Devin Haney, or Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez: Which Journey To Stardom Do You Prefer

In this show, we are talking about last night's fight card.

We start with a hot-button topic of the three major fighters who have been champions and retained their position atop of the sport, which journey have you enjoyed the most: David Benavidez, Devin Haney or Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez

We will also break down Benavidez win over Anthony Yarde, Haney defeating Brian Norman Jr, and "Bam" defeating Fernando Martinez.

Also, we talk about what might be the "Fight of the Year" as Abdullah Mason wins the WBO lightweight title over Sam Noakes in a modern classic, that might have been too good to be a vacant title fight.

Also, we talk about Mizuki Hiruta, who made her sixth title defense of her WBO junior bantamweight women's title, and Francisco Veron, who defeated Roiman Villa on ProBox TV.

This week, we have two marquee cards.

On Saturday, Lukie will be on-site in Fresno for the ProBox TV. He gives a detailed explanation of why you should watch Justin Pauldo, Charlie Sheehy, Karlos Balderas, and many others involved.

In the U.K., on Saturday, light heavyweight Ben Whittaker makes his Matchroom debut. Also on the card, Molly McCann, and a rematch between Cameron Vuong-Gavin Gwynne

  • Episode 839: Conor Benn Gets Revenge Against Chris Eubank Jr, Devin Haney-Brian Norman Jr Preview Show

In this episode, we talk about Conor Benn upsetting Chris Eubank Jr. Should we see a trilogy? Also, where does Jack Catterall fit into the welterweight division, and Adam Azim...is he the real deal?

Also, Ishmael Davis vs Sam Gilley was way too much fun.

We also recap the Top Rank card.

Then we get a major card this Saturday.

The star of the show is a WBO welterweight title fight between the champion Brian Norman Jr and Devin Haney, who looks to become a three-division titleholder. Also, Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez against Fernando "Puma" Martinez, Abdullah Mason faces Sam Noakes for the WBO lightweight title.

Also in the United States, Mizuki Hiruta will look to defend her title against Gloria Gallardo, "Right Hook Roxy" will be featured on the undercard and another good rematch between Guadalupe Medina and Tatiana Almaraz.

  • Boxing Schedule: Chris Eubank Jr-Conor Benn II

Saturday on DAZN, we get part II.

Chris Eubank Jr versus Conor Benn II, that is.

The fight is huge in the U.K. It is pretty cool for hardcore fight fans in the United States as well. That said, the fight is strange. Benn, until recently, was a welterweight and junior welterweight, who is now fighting at middleweight. Eubank is close to being done, but he fought at middleweight and super middleweight his whole career. For those unaware, their fathers engaged in a huge British boxing rivalry, and they are continuing it. The problem, if we are being honest, neither is at the level of their father’s. Which lessens the appeal to a degree.

The co-feature will see junior welterweight Adam Azim facing big-punching Kurt Scoby. Azim has a lot of star potential, but also has a lot of flaws, one of which is keeping his head on the center line. Scoby might not be a wonder in terms of his craft, but he hits hard and trains harder. This is a fight.

A delightful undercard bout that snuck up on me is welterweight Jack Catterall, who now trains with “Bozy” Ennis, will face Ekow Essuman. Both men beat Josh Taylor and one could argue that Essuman did it cleaner. The bout will show some of the additive features of Ennis’ coaching, but also a bit more about Catterall, who emerged as a phoenix against Catterall. Did we overrate him? Essuman has a lower ceiling, but is extremely consistent. This fight will tell a lot.

WBO featherweight titleholder Rafael Espinoza will face Arnold Khegai. The bout will take place in Mexico. Espinoza is emerging as an interesting figure in boxing, and Khegai is in tough given his recent loss to Joet Gonzalez.

Lindolfo Delgado seems to consistently find himself in title eliminators, as after his hard fight with Elvis Rodriguez, he is now following that with a bout against Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela. Other notables on this undercard, Richard Torrez Jr in a 10-round bout, which means he is close to title contention. Junior welterweight Emiliano Vargas is also in 10 10-round bout, and Top Rank prospect Julian Montalvo, who fights at 130lbs, will be featured on the card.

Eye of the Tiger will hold a card that is headlined by Steven “Bang Bang” Butler against Stephane Fondjo. The original opponent was Erik Bazinyan, who recently was forced out of the bout. Butler is a big puncher who is a fan-favorite.

Junior welterweight Jhon Orobio will get to face Xolisani Ndongeni as their previously scheduled fight that was postponed will happen. Orobio looks promising, but Ndongeni is a tier of opponent he has yet to face.

Super middleweight Moreno Fendero will face a very good veteran, William Langston. If Fendero stops Langston, there is a good chance he is one of the best prospects in boxing. Lightweight Wyatt Sanford and lightweight Luis Santana will be featured on the card in separate bouts.

  • Episode 838: Vergil Ortiz Stops Erickson Lubin, and Chris Eubank Jr-Conor Benn II w/ Chordale Booker

In this show, we are joined by junior middleweight contender Chordale Booker, who will be involved in a white-collar boxing event coming up.

We start the show off with a breakdown of Vergil Ortiz vs Erickson Lubin, talking about what is next for both fighters. This is followed by a conversation around the co-feature between Darius Fulghum-David Stevens, and the debut of Amari Jones. Dakota gives his thoughts on other up-and-comers from the Golden Boy card.

We also talk about Tiger Johnson great performance stopping Nicklaus Flaz, which was a star-making performance. Katsuma Akitsugi once again looks like a contender, and Dominic Valle is a top prospect.

With Booker, we talk a little bit about his coaching style, and what it was like to be a prospect.

This was followed by a breakdown of Chris Eubank Jnr-Conor Benn, as well as the DAZN entitled "The Ultimate Tier", we might be joined by a special guest panelist for this part of the show as well.

On the undercard of this pay-per-view event, we discuss Adam Azim versus Kurt Scoby, and Jack Catterall versus Ekow Essuman. Sam Gilley versus Ishamael Davis could be sneaky fun, given how good Davis looked in his last fight.
