We started this week’s episode thinking we were gonna be on topic but let’s just say the spirit led us into full transparency. With just a simple question of “how y’all been?” we all had to keep it a buck and open up on how we REALLY been feeling. This was a conversation on real life and how we don’t always feel our greatest and for all of us it’s been a rough week. We had to let y’all in to know we’re just like y’all, we go through too! But there is light at the end of the tunnel through it all so hear us talk about how we get through when we go through! Apologies in advance because we for sure dumped our bs on all the listeners! Big Charles starts of this episode by asking us “what do women expect from a man?” The question triggered a scene from the hit show, BMF about the wife making a purchase and the respect, or lack there of that she showed her husband, and the conversation took off from there. Big Kendra and Big Shay argue that different women want different things. Big Charles argued that women don’t really know what they want and don’t know a good man when they see one. The battle of the sexes debate gets heated! Was therapy in session or do we just need therapy?! Lol…it was all fun!

We started the episode off preaching and worshiping because the spirit was moving in the room! After having church, we get into the discussion of having pride. Initially in the conversation, we associate pride as a negative emotion but once dissecting and researching the actual definition a little more, we realize pride is actual a positive thing but somehow we’ve made it into something negative. We get into ego as well and the difference between pride and ego. Environment plays a huge role and how we manage these emotions and other emotions as well. This episode shifted so many different ways and had our brains working. It was very much a psychoanalytical episode but eye opening and mind developing. Y’all tap in and learn with us!

We start off talking about how the powers that Be are up there spinning the weather wheel causing it to snow in the Bay Area which hasn’t happened in probably decades at this point, meanwhile on the side where the weather should be snow, it’s sunny days.  The times we living in…but speaking of the times we’re living in we get into how now and days we have to unfortunately put our kids in less diverse schools in order for them to get the proper education they need. It’s sad to know how displaced we are in America having to sometimes be around people who don’t have a clear understanding of our culture. But someone who says he DOES understand our culture is Grant Cordone and in order for us to understand him, he “dumbs down” his message. We debate discuss whether his statements were wrong and even compare him to Deion Sanders’s comments. It’s gets heated! Tap in!

We kick off the episode talking about the rain “storm” that Cali was experiencing a few weeks ago. The conversation shifted into how we respond and react to the environment we’re put in. Sometimes we respond from how we are raised which may not always be positive, and could also be aggressive and toxic however also we agree that it’s necessary to respond differently when we grow and work on self. As we work through our thoughts, we get into people being chosen and choosing to take a different direction in life from how they were brought up. We conclude that being chosen isn’t an option but choosing your destiny is. Which “storm” will you choose, or avoid?
