Spatts from The Criminal Minds is giving away this intoxicating piece of 'FREEFAT' as Free Download/Streaming for Valentines Day(https://hypeddit.com/track/22uwtv)
Celebrating The Criminal Minds, Dirty Little Boxes LP Exclusive now at Juno Download(https://www.junodownload.com/products/the-criminal-minds-dirty-little-boxes/4930435-02/). Global releasedate on Big Fat Mama Beats 26th !
Juno Download Review: 'It's been a short while since we last took on a project of this magnitude from the Big Fat Mama Beats crew, who unveil a fabulous full length album drop from The Criminal Minds, who really do go all out to explore the full breadth of the breakbeat sound. From the more experimental, junglist sounds of 'Analog Dog' and 'Bomb Drops', to the throwback, nostalgic energies of 'Rocksteady' and electro-inspired flavours of 'Twin Sunset', this album covers some serious ground moderately quickly! For us, the title track 'Dirty Little Boxes' alongside Nathan Green is the clear standout, adding a dash of class to the tracklisting with it's heist-like bass grooves and percussive influxes. We also enjoyed the high energy bass sweeps and drum energies of 'Cracked' which again takes us to the complete other end of the spectrum. Awesome work!'
Release Biography: The Criminal Minds proudly presents eleven exclusive, filthy, 'Dirty Little Boxes' on Big Fat Mama Beats Records. Back in the day, The Criminal Minds were always in tune with the progressions of UK dance music taking place within the 90s rave scene. Having released their first two hip hop records 'Guilty As Charged' and 'Tales From The Wasteland' in 1992, they turned their hand to more hardcore productions – most significantly the huge 'Baptized By Dub', which was re-released last year in the best-selling anniversary 2020 re-make by Sidestalker and Spatts. You can find it on 'Beats and Pieces Vol.2', out now on Big Fat Mama Beats. The new still-hot-from-the-studio-mixes on 'Dirty Little Boxes LP', represents The Criminal Minds at its mindblowing best with a full blown, full length album, with cutting edge modern twists and turns. Delivering their signature uptempo breakbeat with hip hop samples and scratches, including help from artists and remixers like Pat Bedeau, Nathan Green and offcause Sidestalker and MC HALO. Back and ready to kick you into the groove, with some highly sought after original uptempo breakbeat, how only The Criminal Minds can do it !!!
