Tone Stallone is a Louisville-based rapper, producer, and multi-talented creative who's spent 15 years in music and taken it seriously for the last 5-6. After a decade-long addiction spiral that started with prescription painkillers, he got clean and refocused on his craft. He released the Free Samples series (currently at volume 3, with 4 coming soon) as both a reintroduction to the music world and a statement of purpose. Beyond the booth, Tone is a head football coach at Tiff Street Cardinals, a cook, a father, and a mentor to younger Louisville artists. He's currently working on his debut album — a genre-blending masterpiece he's positioning as a major cultural statement.
Tone Stallone sits down with B Fines to break down 15 years in music, the stabbing that started an addiction spiral, how his mom's CD collection changed everything, and why stepping back to be a full-time dad was the best reset he needed. Plus, what's coming with his next album.
